Life was once so much simpler, before we invented the database and had to find something useful to do with it.
Is the current vast myriad of human afflictions in any way linked I ask.
And over two hundred musical genres to choose from, aren’t we lucky to be living in this information super age.
Gabba anyone?
In the 1911 census of Great Britain, citizens were asked in column sixteen if they had any infirmity.
They were given four options.
1. Totally deaf or deaf and dumb.
2. Totally blind
3. Lunatic
4. Imbecile or Feeble Minded
Given that I do not fit into any of the above categories, had I lived in 1911 would I have been considered infirm or disabled.
I think not.
