It’s A Wonderful Life is now considered the most inspirational American movie of all time, yet when it was released it was considered a box office flop.

It took around forty years for people to really “get it”.

As Christmas rolls around the globe, I want you to consider an opportunity.

The opportunity for each and every person on the planet to have an enlightenment experience.

The kind of experience people trek thousands of miles to Tibet for. The moment an experienced yogi would cite as profound. An awakening. And all available from a single weekend experience.

And a prediction…

Sooner or later, what I am about to tell you will be considered the most inspirational material of all time.

In 1971 a man named Werner Erhard created a seminar based large group awareness training called EST.

What you may not be aware of some thirty eight years later, the experience is still available in a similar training offered by Landmark Education.

The impact of the lives of the people who participate is profound.

Having recently reviewed the course, I now realise the huge positive impact originally participating in 1999 had on my life.

Apart from being born, 4:52pm on day three of the Landmark Forum is ongoingly the most important moment in my life.

I have access to living a life I love. And I love my life because I love my life.

My own book is based on principles I learned indirectly from Werner Erhard.

More interesting, my entire life is influenced by him and so is yours.

As the originator of the conversation about transformation and making a difference, almost everything these days hinges on these premises.

Virtually every conversation inside personal development and self-realisation lives in the idea we are perfect the way we are, when we remove our issues.

The way we are, AND the way we are not…

But how do we remove issues which would take a life time to evolve beyond?

Simply by removing our sense of self. The Ogre. Like Yoga. There be monsters between you and God!

So here is a Christmas gift to you. Let me take you in a direction by inviting you into a conversation.

For the twelve days of Christmas, I am giving away a free eBook download of my book The Logic Of Attraction (normally £9).

You can download it here:

http://LogicOfAttraction.com/MerryChristmas/LOA_XMASFREE.pdf

The password is: XMASFREE

And to accompany the book I am giving away an audio meditation, recorded by the fabulous Rich Hilton, which compliments an exercise in consciousness in the book.

All you have to do is sign up for the newsletter to receive it.

If you like what you get, comment below.

See you on the other side of the looking glass,

Panic Away is working.

I can see I initially had generalized anxiety as a child, then as I got older started to add situational anxiety into the mix.

When I was around 17 or 18 I tried smoking grass. While the initial effect left me with a profound at oneness with the Universe, my experience only extended as far as my high school religious teacher’s understanding of Bhuddism.

I really made it all mean something it was not.

Once at the public house that we were walking to, the laughter became an acute panic attack coupled with a feeling I was going mad.

Thirty years later I get to see I have my conversations about enlightenment and my experiences taking drugs collapsed.

My experience of getting high, IS a panic attack. So my experience of panic IS of expanded consciousness.

I am afraid if I expand consciousness too far, I will lose touch with real Mark and never get back.

I hold my breath for ages, then take a series of fast breaths till I get to the point I will faint.

I suspect I may have fainted at some point while “out of it” and don’t recall the event.

Up until the weekend I had a fear of not remembering what I had done.

Or, I would hazard a guess at it being the dentist, or an operation. Maybe how I interpreted something they said while I was under.

What I am really enjoying is being in the game of disappearing panic.

I can live with it sure, I have done it forever.

I can’t live with the conversation I am an enlightened being though, it is ridiculous.

Landmark Education just handed me a profound new understanding of what it is to be human, it is.

My understanding is Landmark is not really about enlightenment. What I have got is enlightenment about enlightenment!

There’s a looking glass sure, the reality on the other side is way deeper than mere reflection and certainly not whacky.

And breathe

See you on the other side,

I recently completed The Landmark Forum and have had another good look at the issues which have been running my life for years.

In unravelling some unbelievably difficult things, such as finding out I don’t need to have a panic attack if I say something out loud in public, or that I was the one who nailed myself to a cross to be a martyr, I started looking at what else is possible.

I have been in tears all day and I love it. Not from a place of sadness for the world, more for the pure genius of it. I have been understanding the nature of what it is to be inspirational from a whole new level.

I have been in a personal enquiry about music and I realize there are two kinds of musician.

There are musicians who practice for years and sing songs. There are musicians who are technically incorrect who move listeners to tears.

I have no affinity with U2, particularly as Duran Duran are very competitive of them.

Today however the guitar riff from Sunday Bloody Sunday spinning as an ear worm in my consciousness compelled me to listen.

I cried.

I totally understand Bono to be a person who stands for something bigger than himself.

Bono is not the bands singer when he opens his mouth, his voice is a function of the stand he takes for peace.

I considered the nature of it and there are a handful of people on the planet who really shine.

Then I asked myself, what would I take a stand about that would be at the same level?

Then I realised that being a stand for employment oppurtunities for adults with autism is a very different game than being a man who sets up a transport museum to employ people with autism.

From now on I invite you to listen to me in this way.

If you do, you will experience a miracle.

I’ll create it again for you in a different way. Please tell your friends to read the blog and support this space.

Mark Ty-Wharton is a man who stands for employment oppurtunities for adults with autism.

Adults with autism can count on me to carry out this role to the best of my ability.

And a message for Jerry Baden and Werner Erhard.

The possibility I invent for myself and my life out of doing the Landmark Forum, is the possibilty of being (a clearing for) inspiration and peace.

Mark Ty-Wharton

What have you noticed today?
Let me guess.

If you drive a car and you have been anywhere, you probably spotted another like it, or similar.

Perhaps someone reminded you of someone else you know?

Or something about your day reminded you of yesterday, or tomorrow?

Your day will have been punctuated with things which are already in your consciousness.

Your actions will have made sense to you given the values you already hold in your consciousness.

Things outside your mindset will have gone un-noticed or been ignored.

So…

Where am I going with this?

Yes, you guessed it.

What haven’t you noticed?

What you haven’t noticed is you are noticing these things.

You have been programmed by everything that has happened to you this far in life, to operate within your own paradigm of understanding.

In other words – you will only see more of what you already know and understand.

When you see it – it is a completion in your consciousness.

Like, aha, yes, this is reality, great!

So here is a game…

If I assume I notice Peugeot cars, because I drive one…

What if I deliberately start noticing Bentleys, Jaguars and Rolls ROyces?

I get to drive one?

What if I deliberately start noticing people who look like they have money?

I get to be a billionare?

What if I deliberately gravitate towards the mindset of noticing the things I would like to have?

Well…

What if…

As part of the mind game, when I see one of these things, I could drop “there’s a jaguar, just like mine” into my psychological landscape.

You notice the things you have more, than the things you do not have, because they are already in your consciousness.

Do you think?

Noticing the things you aspire towards, closes the loop.

See you on the other side of the looking glass,

The air that is surrounding you is connected to the air that is surrounding me.
The atoms are connected.
If I flap my wings a butterfly has a heart attack in Australia right?

Can you see it?
Nope?
Air…
It’s invisible right.
Virtually impossible to visualise.

The earth I walk on, if I travel far enough, will lead me right to you.
Both you and I are standing on it.
Stamp your foot.

Can you get, that I can feel that?
Nope?
Earth…
It’s pretty solid stuff right.
Again, hard to get the concept.

So…

I am standing looking at a stream.
A twig floats by.
The twig will eventually float to the sea.
You can get that the stream leads to a river?
And the river leads to the sea?
And our planet is covered in water?
And most of it is connected?
Certainly anything tidal.

It starts to rain.
Here…
And there…
Sheets of rain are falling through the sky.
Everything wet.

When everything is wet it is easy to see, all of everything wet is connected.
Now ask yourself.
When is it dry?

See you on the other side of the looking glass,

So is this the real secret behind the secret?

Masturbation!

It is a long held belief that the most creative time for a human mind is betwixt sleep and the waking state.

Most of us use this excuse to lull in bed a while and think of a morning before rising (no pun intended).

But how else to get there.

For men, the act that leads to spent sexual energy (having a wank) can lead to a rapid descent into unconsciousness shortly thereafter.

In Napoleon Hill’s book ‘Think And Grow Rich’ he dedicates an entire chapter to it.

Transmutation of sexual energy…

Wanking!

I might be stereotyping here, but why is it that Rhonda Byrne fails to mention it in her book ‘The Secret’.

Perhaps only men can do it?

Get out the old magic wand, rub and visualise.

But as Napoleon explains, be careful what you are thinking when you ejaculate.

Better still, hold it on the edge for hours and think about big piles of money.

And when you are done?

You lull into the mindset of creation.

How you feel about wanking is probably of vital importance.

If you are a guilty wanker, you will create an energy block.

The lull afterwards is “the” moment of creation. Think about it. It is where each and every one of us came from. You as well!

Men, take advice.

Rub it, love it, manifest!

See you on the other side of the looking glass,

I am sitting in the hairdresser with my daughter.
There is an atmosphere in here.
Feel good music plays in the background, a track from the eighties that would have been on the radio when I was a few years older than Cloud is now.

And overlaying that the hubbub of friendly chatter.
The clack of a flip flop.
The sweeping of a broom.
The building seems silent, content.

Nothing terrible has happened here as far as I can tell.
Cloud is sitting in a shower of hair.
Occassionally we exchange glances.
The hair dresser talks of feathers, razors and blends.

After a while I read ‘Woman’s Own’ and catch up on the plot of Eastenders.
What I feel is that it is hard to occupy my mind with anything serious here for more than a few seconds.
I could not work through, or solve a problem in this atmosphere by any means.

This is a place where women escape.
While this place is about defining looks, it is all about feelings or the plain simple lack of meaningful thought.
So what am I picking up.

In general, a group of people who seem happy with their lives.
People willing to let conversation flow where it needs to go.
Like a bubbling brook.
Clear, sparkling, fresh, bright.

She can speak Spanish.
Do you.
When did you find out.
Aww.

See you on the other side of the looking glass,

I am surrounded by sick people.
My family have been diagnosed with swine flu.
I choose to be well.

Swine flu serves no purpose for me.
What I notice about it is:

My partner has indoctrinated our toddler with her daily mantra, “I don’t feel
well”.
In turn I have indoctrinated him with mine, “I am not very happy about that”!
Or more simply, “I am not happy”.
He interprets this as “I feel horrible”.
What a fucked life he has ahead of him if I don’t become a more positive role model.

Then again, despite running a temperature of 101.4 he charges around as if nothing has happened.

I was taught to play sick when I wasn’t well.
Teachers, employers, doctors and the like all saying “well if you are running around like that, there can’t be that much wrong with you”.
And there are a million and one other phrases we throw at our children.

I would further venture to say…
All parents are incompetent!

We have had NO training.
And by the time we figure we made inappropriate choices for our children, society is stuck with the consequences of it.
Gun worship, crime, sex, violence.
The worst part.

Without wanting to sound like an insane evangelist.
It’s mind control!
Fear.

So what do you want to do?

Roll over and die when THEY tell you to?

Or unplug from collective consciousness and play?

See you on the other side of the looking glass,
