It’s A Wonderful Life is now considered the most inspirational American movie of all time, yet when it was released it was considered a box office flop.

It took around forty years for people to really “get it”.

As Christmas rolls around the globe, I want you to consider an opportunity.

The opportunity for each and every person on the planet to have an enlightenment experience.

The kind of experience people trek thousands of miles to Tibet for. The moment an experienced yogi would cite as profound. An awakening. And all available from a single weekend experience.

And a prediction…

Sooner or later, what I am about to tell you will be considered the most inspirational material of all time.

In 1971 a man named Werner Erhard created a seminar based large group awareness training called EST.

What you may not be aware of some thirty eight years later, the experience is still available in a similar training offered by Landmark Education.

The impact of the lives of the people who participate is profound.

Having recently reviewed the course, I now realise the huge positive impact originally participating in 1999 had on my life.

Apart from being born, 4:52pm on day three of the Landmark Forum is ongoingly the most important moment in my life.

I have access to living a life I love. And I love my life because I love my life.

My own book is based on principles I learned indirectly from Werner Erhard.

More interesting, my entire life is influenced by him and so is yours.

As the originator of the conversation about transformation and making a difference, almost everything these days hinges on these premises.

Virtually every conversation inside personal development and self-realisation lives in the idea we are perfect the way we are, when we remove our issues.

The way we are, AND the way we are not…

But how do we remove issues which would take a life time to evolve beyond?

Simply by removing our sense of self. The Ogre. Like Yoga. There be monsters between you and God!

So here is a Christmas gift to you. Let me take you in a direction by inviting you into a conversation.

For the twelve days of Christmas, I am giving away a free eBook download of my book The Logic Of Attraction (normally £9).

You can download it here:

http://LogicOfAttraction.com/MerryChristmas/LOA_XMASFREE.pdf

The password is: XMASFREE

And to accompany the book I am giving away an audio meditation, recorded by the fabulous Rich Hilton, which compliments an exercise in consciousness in the book.

All you have to do is sign up for the newsletter to receive it.

If you like what you get, comment below.

See you on the other side of the looking glass,

I just had an extremely strange experience.

Without adding story, here are the facts.

Make of it what you will.

I am not making any claims here.

I was driving back from dropping my child at school and had slowed to 30 MPH for a village.

While driving through the village I experienced a very odd tingling just below my ears and along my jaw.

The sensation reminded me of many times in the past where I had experienced a similar feeling (not an emotion).

I ended up very deep in thought about a visit to the zoo with a friends baby daughter, who I predicted would be into animal rights, she is…

It’s pretty specific isn’t it.

She was pre-language, so did I influence her?

As I drove out of the village, I forgot to speed up. And in my day dream, I spotted a black shape moving ahead of me, but something was up!

On a blind corner, on my side of the road, was a black VW Passat saloon which narrowly missed me and ducked back into the oncoming traffic.

By the time I reacted and hit the horn he was already behind me.

It was as if I was in a trance.

My awareness returned to the car and I realised I would normally be on the wrong edge of the speed limit of 60MPH on this particular route.

Had I arrived at that point in the road seconds earlier, there would have been a very big bang!

Another looking glass moment, brought to you by…

I am AMAZED at how tiny detail filters into my consciousness.
I have a washing line in my garden shed.
A rotary washing line at that.

It seemed like a good idea to buy one at the time, I figured it would save my electricity bill and I would be doing my bit for the environment at the same time. Or, I will be when I dig a hole and put it in it.

Now I was in the shop where I bought the washing line again the other day and they have in store radio.
As I shopped I noticed the presenter was talking about the enviroment and suggested that using a washing line was one good way of saving on electricity bills.
And there it was, the squeeze.
“Buy one today etc”.

I had this sudden realisation that on my last visit I had spent £45 on something I hadn’t even considered before entering the store.

And why?

Because THEY are deliberately filtering influence into my consciousness.
THEY made the decision for me.
I have no idea how cost effective it will be.
I am not sure I even want one!

Think about it.
Where else in life are WE being influenced?

See you on the other side of the looking glass,

I am pretty sure the dead cannot communicate with us or influence the outcome of current events.
In my opinion, they exist in another realm, as parallel infinite possible variations of our reality with their own future and past.
I came up with a new theory which corroborates the idea the other day.

Think about the ghosts of Roman Legions. Anyone who has seen them says they only see them from the waste up.
The reason is, they are an echo through time and are walking on the surface of the Earth as it was way back then.
Hence their legs appear buried.

Now apply the same logic to the future.
The surface of the Earth will be built upon, the diameter of the sphere larger by who knows how much.

If you were looking at echoes through time from the future where would you look?
In the sky of course.

How far into the sky?
Who knows how much rubbish we can make in the next two thousand years.

So you see, it is simple.
The unidentified gets a classification.
Flying? No.
Object?

Imagine for a minute the UFO spotters are seeing something else.
Ghosts from the future, driving in the sky.

See you on the other side of the looking glass,

I think this should be the final blog tour entry and for me the most important. I’ve had a huge realisation. A while ago I opened a door into a new World and accidentally left a door open behind me. Several outstanding tasks separate me from freedom. As I clear them, I see, the World I leave behind me is a World of broken promises, a World of shattered egos, a World where no-one dares…

I’m actually shocked!

The sadness is overcome when I realise the World I have stepped into is a World full of rising stars, not falling ones. So it seems appropriate to post a blog by my daughter Cloudia, a young woman with a rising talent as a writer, a woman you will be hearing more of in time.

I also express profound gratitude to my fellow rising stars, those who dared!

See you on the other side of the looking glass…

Rising souls, I give you Cloudia Tinley…

Dreaming

I look forward to going to bed at night. The dreams we have that are made up from our memories and then distorted.
So when people say dreams mean something, they do! They are everything that has happened to you during the day or during a period of time.
We have many dreams in our lifetime of course. Even if you can’t remember having them.
I’ve had dreams recently when people are trying to kill me. Now in real life nobody is trying to get me, but my subconscious mind may see it that way.
Your subconscious is a very powerful thing. When you are typing on a keyboard you aren’t thinking “Now hit w” you automatically do it.
That is your subconscious working.
Now I love having dreams because for me it is a bit of a relief from reality. I can forget what is real and instead see things that are impossible or seem impossible in the real world. It is so much fun!
I have found that by listening to certain music triggers certain dreams or thinking about something will influence your dreams.
For example: If I listen to Decode by Paramore, which is the music from the film Twilight, I may possibly dream of vampires.
We’ve all heard of nightmares. They are just the dreams that seem horrible to us. But it is just your subconscious making it that way.
I know they aren’t nice but there is no cure. You can not control your subconscious or how it perceives things.
I hear that cheese of all things can make dreams stronger or enhanced etc. I’m not sure if it is true, but I have tried it.
It may have enhanced or made my dream slightly more manic.
So give it a go.
But remember to brush your teeth after eating it before bed!

I understand systems.

I am the guy on all the self-development courses who sits and figures everything out way before everyone else.

I used to be the guy who listened to other people, thought I had missed the point, got it wrong, then over thought it, because I couldn’t believe I was that clever.

I generally score in the top 2% in IQ tests.

Basically I can either accept or not, my intelligence level puts me in the genius category.

Whether that actually makes me a genius is another matter only others can decide.

One of my limiting beliefs is being self-conscious about being too clever and in the past I tried to hide my intelligence to fit in.

Of course people saw right through this and I end up looking like I was faking something. And people don’t like a fake.

I wasn’t living up to my potential as a human being and everyone around me knew it.

The light that burns half as bright, Roy? Is no-one?

So right now, I could switch on my light and let it shine.

The switch is a little rusty but I’ll give it a go.

CLUNK…

Hello, today I am over here – the bright shining thing – telling you the blindingly obvious.

Today my blog is about money…

You greedy bastards!

Don’t worry I can say totally inappropriate stuff and get away with it, I have Aspergers.

I have been learning a system called http://giveawayadollaraday.com

I say it is a system, because the game is a microcosm of a bigger system, the system we call money.

It sounds blissfully simple and the “doing” part of it is, anyone with more that ninety nine cents can take part.

If you don’t have more than ninety nine cents; then you can even take part in give away a dime a day and you still get the promise of the program.

What’s this promise I hear you ask?

Forget about pay it forward, there is a bigger prize at the end of this practice.

Put simply, GAADAD is a game that will help clear your limiting beliefs around money. The far reaching consequences of which involve your entire life, as the same limiting beliefs invariably show up in other areas.

Don’t want to do it?

Fed up of hearing me talk about it and want me to just jump straight to the answers?

Okay…

I’ll pretend to be an apostle or a prophet or something and you pretend to be a disciple.

Then I’ll tell you a parable.

Many, many years ago, before the time of Adam and Eve there was a market place where people went to share their wares.

There was every kind of stall, every manner of things to behold, all told an abundance of everything, more than any man could ever wish for.

There was no regulation, people would show the light of what they had created and could simply take whatever they needed and leave.

However as time went on, people took much more than they needed leaving nothing for others and causing considerable hardship.

Something needed to be done to control this greed.

A system was devised to measure goods.

The paradoxical law of three fold return/righteousness regulated the system and bartering began.

This system overflows into today’s society and what was true then remains now.

A measure of a man’s greed can be found in that which he does not have.

To celebrate my new found understanding of this principle, in addition to giving away a pound a day, I have decided to give away a book every week.

I am not sure how I go about not having a strategic influence on the process, I’ll maybe walk up to a random stranger and hand it to them?

See you on the other side of the looking glass,

I just watched the film Harold And Maude

It is not the first time I have seen it, it’s probably the third or fourth.

I was reminded of it because Jane Goldman has Harold’s car as her background on Twitter.

What stikes me immediately is how much influence this film had on me. It ranks right alongside “The New Forest Show” and “Wall Of Death” and pre-dates my rebel years (punk).

In life, my driving in life is very Maude and anything else I say will probably give away my psychological ineptitude when it comes to authority, though I finally have a reason for this that cannot be blamed on a film.

However, since I originally watched this on TV when I was about ten or eleven and it was the talk of the school, I imagine it is deeply ingrained in my programming. It is actually rated as a ‘15′ now, so why it was on TV before my bedtime, I am not sure, it may even have been during the day? I will have to ask others who remember it.

What strikes me is utterly amazing is the director’s humour and attention to detail. The deliberate synchronicity of the clothes. The UCK WAR in the theatrical trailer (yes I watch those) is profoundly inspirational and cleverly implied.

And finally, the idea nothing is really new. The “it’s organic” joke crops up several times and the film was made in 1971.

Here we are thirty eight years later and the concept is mainstream and equally ridiculous.

I wonder what relatively new concepts we are currently joking about will be that way thirty eight years from now?

By then I will be eighty three.

I can only hope I recall the Maude attitude to life and death, though technically I would have already departed.

If it’s not already, it should be in your top ten inspirational films.

See you on the other side of the looking glass,

I am so excited.

I have uncovered a MAJOR belief system. Something that has literally been HOLDING ME BACK for years.

What is it?

“Things Don’t Happen Quickly Enough”.

Why couldn’t I see it?

Because it was a complaint.

Complaints ARE beliefs, only we end up lost in them.

They are so true for us, we cannot recognise them as belief systems.

We simply find more evidence for them and they propogate.

So how has “Things Don’t Happen Quickly Enough” been altering my life and why haven’t I been able to see it?

As a persistent complaint!

When things are not happening quickly enough, despite me pushing everyone and everything around me to make them happen more quickly, the ’stuckness’ of things is a response from the Universe to my belief.

I CREATE the evidence for the belief by having the belief itself.

The reason it is so hard to find the limiting belief is the complaint is the belief itself.

I am looking at all the reasons around the physical problems in the world for the belief, when IT IS IN ME.

I am literally SAYING the belief on a moment by moment basis.

I am REALLY excited. Defining it means I can give it up.

EVERYTHING can happen more quickly now, if I say it will.

“STUFF” IS GONNA SHIFT…

Big Time!!!

To define TDHQE, it started in my teens, possibly earlier.

Evidence for it is:

Duran Duran have a three year turn around on albums. I could have wound up working for any band on the planet as a producer, yet I chose them. TDHQE.

When I worked as a digitisation manager encoding mp3’s the company was riddled with project managers and red tape, while iTunes just got the CDs and did it. The company I worked for was too slow and actually went bankrupt when the dot com bubble burst. TDHQE.

We are buying a house and aimed to complete in 4-6 weeks. So far it has taken about 10 and despite having no involvement in the actual sale (my partner is dealing with it) the influence of my belief is such that the house sale is at a crawl. TDHQE.

Ahem, I have been engaged to be married for two years!!! TDHQE.

Pickup on the readership of this blog is way too slow. If Stephen Fry can gain over 100,000 followers over a period of weeks so can I. TDHQE.

It took me thirty years to get over panic attacks

I have various motorcycle builds in the garage and they are taking too long. I have a list of excuses BUT it is all down to me. I ordered new front forks three weeks ago. Something went wrong and they had to go back. TDHQE.

EVERYTHING happens at a crawl.

In response I PUSH really hard so the belief is HIDDEN.

I think I am DOING everything I can to move things forward.

By calling people and hurrying them along I am more than likely slowing them down.

Whatever I am doing there is just more and more evidence.

The things that are important to me don’t happen quickly enough.

I get angry and frustrated and make poor decisions which in turn fuel the belief.

I keep asking why do things keep going wrong.

THANK YOU UNIVERSE

In its brilliant wisdom the Universe is simply responding to and serving my belief.

I don’t think I could find MORE evidence of ‘Law Of Attraction’ at work.

AMAZING

It usually takes me hours to write a blog. I complain about them taking so much of my time. SAME BLOODY BELIEF.

This blog entry?

FIVE MINUTES!!!

See you on the other side of the looking glass,
